Welcome
Between Us, Sis. is a faith-centered content and community space created for reflection, encouragement, learning, and honest conversation.
Not professional care
Our articles, emails, videos, social posts, downloads, programs, and community conversations are general faith-based, educational, and personal-reflection content. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, pastoral-counseling, or other individualized professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Participation does not create a professional relationship.
Choice and privacy
You never need to disclose the details of your story to participate. Please do not post information you want to remain private. Avoid sharing another person’s name, health information, confession, correspondence, image, or identifying details without appropriate permission. We may edit or remove public submissions to protect privacy or community care.
Difficult subjects
Some conversations may discuss grief, abuse, loss, addiction, self-harm, suicide, family conflict, trauma, or other sensitive subjects. When warranted, we will use a brief content note and provide appropriate support resources. You are free to pause, skip, or return when you have support and capacity.
Immediate support
Between Us, Sis. is not a crisis service. If you are in the United States and need immediate emotional support or are thinking about suicide, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency or crisis service.
Community conduct
Respectful disagreement is welcome. Harassment, threats, discrimination, diagnosing others, shaming, pressuring people to disclose, solicitation of vulnerable members, impersonation, deceptive content, and posting another person’s private information are not. We may moderate, limit, or remove content or access when necessary to protect the community.
Topic submissions
Questions and topic suggestions may inform future content. Submission does not guarantee publication, a reply, confidentiality, counseling, or individual advice. Remove names and identifying details. We may combine themes or rewrite submissions to protect privacy.
Testimonials and guest stories
We will request permission before using an identifiable comment, story, image, voice, or testimonial in marketing or products. We will not materially change its meaning. Guest conversations require written consent and a clear understanding of how content may be edited, distributed, archived, and promoted.
Sponsored and affiliate content
When a recommendation includes a material relationship—such as payment, employment, a gift, a discount, a family or business relationship, or an affiliate commission—we will disclose that relationship clearly and close to the recommendation. Opinions remain our own.
AI-assisted production
Some research, transcription, formatting, accessibility, design support, or content repurposing may be assisted by authorized technology or AI under Shelia’s direction. Public-facing master conversations receive human review for voice, theology, care, privacy, and accuracy.
Privacy and email
We collect only the information needed to operate the selected services and communicate with members. Our Privacy Notice describes the information collected through this website, how it is used, and how to contact us with a privacy request. Marketing emails will include sender identification, a valid business mailing address or registered PO box, and an unsubscribe option.
No guarantee
Personal reflection and spiritual growth differ for every person. We do not promise a particular emotional, spiritual, relational, health, financial, or business outcome from using our content or products.
Read our current Privacy Notice and Terms of Use for details about participation and the complimentary journal.
